How to play
Pokémon Hearth is a cosy vanilla-ish adventure made by PurrfectDoodle with an ancient-Japan-inspired setting. You explore the Toku region and save it from a mysterious spreading decay, traveling through forests, oceans, mountains and volcanos! This guide will walk you through everything you need to get started.
Get the patch

Access the Online Patcher
Visit the Online Patcher -
Upload your ROM
Click the “Rom File” button -
Patch the ROM
Click the “Patch” button -
Download the patched ROM
Save the patched ROM file when complete
Congratulations! 🎉 You’ve patched Pokémon Hearth on your vanilla Pokémon Emerald ROM. Play it with your chosen emulator.
Mobile Installation

Access the Online Patcher
Visit the Online Patcher -
Upload your ROM
Click the “Rom File” button -
Patch the ROM
Click the “Patch” button -
Download the patched ROM
Save the patched ROM file when complete -
Rename the file
Change the file extension from.txtto.gba
Congratulations! 🎉 You’ve patched Pokémon Hearth on your vanilla Pokémon Emerald ROM. Play it with your chosen emulator.
Manual Patch

Download the Patch
Click “Download Patch” on the online patcher -
Get Your ROM
Ensure you have a clean copy of Pokémon Emerald (USA) v1.0 -
Open a Patching Tool
Use Rom Patcher JS (web-based) or any compatible patching tool -
Apply the Patch
- Select your ROM file as the “ROM file”
- Select the downloaded
.bpsfile as the “Patch file” - Click “Apply patch”

Download the Patched ROM
Save the output file (rename to.gbaif needed)
You can now play Pokémon Hearth on your favorite emulator!

- Checksum Mismatch – Ensure you’re using a clean ROM of Pokémon Emerald (USA) v1.0
